Well thank you, that was one of the main reasons we created this forum, to keep in touch with our customers and get input on what you guys want.
As for the surge, we had some issues with an update and are getting a truck in on monday for some tests, it does look however that it is indeed the tune on the fly feature so what we might do is release a non tune on the fly in the meantime while we sort that issue out, but it will not be until we get a truck in here to ensure the rev works properly.

Johan..... If it's gonna be a few days before you get this figured out, would it be possible to re-release the revision 07 for the U7131? I know the truck will have a rough idle to it, but that can be fixed by not running the AC while idleing. I'm about to go on another trip and would love to hook this thing back up. It really turns the truck into a whole different animal. Just a thought.....

You can still download the R07 release by using the following link:

I haven't had a chance to go back to it yet as I've been playing with my SmartyCR until this gets sorted out. Let us know if it resolves the surge. :D

Well just got back form the lake and was hoping to come back to a fix for all the problems. I sure hope when they fix this that the tune on the fly will still be an option since that was one of the reasons i went with this programmer. I did pull my travel trailer to the lake with puck in low and truck in tow mode still had some bad jerking and a few times felt like i was being bucked by a horse, did not get the check engine light like i was before, that only seems to be happening in the performance mode. Anyway hope a fix is here soon this is really starting to suck

Johan.... I have been driving around for about a day now with mixed highway/city and have yet to have the truck surge on me. I reloaded revision 7, so it must have something to do with one of the new features in revision 12. I'm guessing the tune on the fly is the culprit.

I installed R07 this morning and so far so good... Surging appears to be gone...

So did reloading r7 fix ruff idle as well? I've been waiting to buy till this gets resolved. But if the 7 version doesn't have any issue then I'd go for it and wait till new updates are fixed 100%. Be cause the shift on the fly, tire recal and idle up won't be used on my end as long as power setting are the same.
Does any one know if I were to purchase one NEW would it have only the r07 version or would it have any of the more current updates.
Thanks for your answers to my odd ?'s.

Revision 07 seems to be issue free on my end. When you buy the Predator it should already have revision 07 in it....

Well i finally have a truck with the surge, and it is consistent, after about 25min of highway cruise i get a surge.
So i am working on it as we speak.
Worst case scenario will be that we have to go back to the regular flash and dispose tune on the fly for the time being.
I will keep you posted.
