Yeah, theres a turbo motor in the car, the 1.4L MultiAir, but not tuned yet. You said it was coming with the Dart turbo.
I'd be shocked if there was an SRT version of the 500. I seriously doubt Abarth would go for that. They're gonna want to be the top performing 500, with their measly 160hp. The Dart SRT will apparently have the Turbo 2.4. Who knows if thats ever gonna come though? They already dropped the R/T with the N/A 2.4, if any were ever actually made.
Either way, he's gotta be talking about the regular non-turbo 500's. The turbos were never offered with an automatic. The American head was pushing for it, since automatics are over 90% market share here (last time I heard it was 92%, but thats variable depending on how lazy we feel), but the schmucks in Italy won't do it. Apparently they like living in the past with their antiquated stickshift. Retarded IMO, since the 6 speed dual clutch is already Federalized with the 1.4 Turbo for the Dart, so it really wouldn't cost them anything and sales could theoretically multiply tenfold. Hell, if SRT got a hold of it, I'd buy a 300+hp dual clutch 500 if I could squeeze in it.

The R/T nameplate was dropped in favor of GT. The 2.4 GT version of the Dart is supposedly due out sometime in April or May.
There are also tuning options available for the 1.4 Turbo in the Fiat 500 Abarth. I'm hoping for some tuning options on the 1.4 Turbo in the Dart as well.

They aren't showing that on their site. They used to have the R/T, but thats gone too. 2.4GT, huh? So GT means nothing now too. Dodge killed R/T when they put the letters on the Caravan. Hyundai killed GT by using it on the Elantra, and now Dodge is killing it for American marques too by using it on the Dart. Should have just kept R/T since they already ruined those letters. Guess Ford needs to find some new letters for their base V8 Mustangs, now that GT is sullied.
When I said tuning isn't available yet, I mean from DiabloSport. Its coming, but not here yet.
