Wouldn't count on it. The power is so low on it that theres almost nothing to gain. An average 5% gain on a 300-400hp motor is 15-20hp, which people are willing to pay for. A 5% gain on 100hp is only 5hp. People wouldn't be willing to pay $300 for 5hp.

actually if you check your facts yes they are. the 500 has a ecu tune option that is good for 9hp and its $795. there is a timing adjustment tool for 350 that gives 5. so yes we are willing to pay $300 for 5hp

BUt this is rather interesting Mike. That a tune is available means the Fiat PCMs aren't encrypted. So Fiat has Chrysler encrypting their PCMs to reduce warranty claims, but aren't doing it to their own.

Yeah, but for that motor thats a 9% gain! Thats the same as 40hp on a Hemi.

Still can't see spending $800 for it. Thats about what I spent for my pulley to get more then 70hp, and I felt ripped off. Maybe I just don't understand the world of small cars. Their owners are happy with 110hp, while I'm over 650 and looking for more. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

if you could pull off 9hp for 300 - 350 you would gain all the people wanting to gain the hp but not spend the $795.

I am willing to spend money on a proper ECU tune. Even better if there are multiple selectable maps and an option for back to stock tune. Sign me up! I am also a willing participant for a beta run.
