Is it really that much different that what it would be to work with a company like Chrysler to get an encription key? Not by any means trying to be a jerk here, just after watching my truck fall on its face last night at the track due to needing a tune I am feeling very desperate this morning!

I did call and put my complaint in, but I doubt it will do any good. I would like to know tho if the guys at Diablo are anywhere close to having something out. I mean have you all gave up on it or are you all still working hard at it.

I do support the idea that B&G and Diablo figure out some sort of alliance to help the community and benefit each other.
B&G has the capability to tune
Diablosport has the capability to make the handheld tuner.

you guys have noticed that B&G needs the pcm in front of him to load tunes, right?
Trust me....if it were that easy, we'd be doing it already. He has factory software that allows him to do what he does, making that work in a inTune/Trinity is not that simple...

I am no expert when it comes to technology but, if B&G has the resources that allows him to tune the ecu why not work with each other and sort out what is needed for the trinity to be able in supporting. if the problem was the encryption he sure has a way around it as he is tuning the ecus.

so why not work together to figure out something and make it work.

i know and understand that this might be hard but you guys have been trying to do it for sometime now, in my opinion a change of method rather than the traditional way might help. if he could do it you guys could as well do it

Not the way it works. B&G has the factory computer. He's a dealer. He's able to get in with his dealer credentials through Chryslers computer. DiabloSport doesn't have that, not the computer, not the credentials. And even if they did, putting that into a different device, thats mass produced wouldn't work.

I'm almost 100% sure if he has factory software to be able to upload a flashed tune to a ecu then there must be a way to work with that factory software from the inside out to figure out the encryption to be able to unlock the ecu so we can use the tuners and not have to send in the ecu's anymore. Make a copy of the software or request a second copy and pick it apart. it may take a few more ecu's for the next few months but in the long run working together for those months and maybe hiring an extra IT guy or two wouldnt be a bad idea for both companies. I'm sure if you looked for a good computer hacker you could find someone whod be able to get past the encyrption. I'm not a computer genius but I've worked with computers enough to know that if you have the software to start with there is always a back door to do what ever you want with it.
