Sounds like Mike Levy is still spending mommy and daddys money........i say this because with that attitude he has, and the comments he makes, he CAN'T be a grown ass man. And if 10K is such a drop in the bucket for you pal, why not invest in Diablo so i can get my update sooner! hahaha jackass!

No I'm spending money that I make from working. You know, some of us work so we can afford nicer things. I knew from the day I bought my truck that I wasn't gonna leave it stock, which was why I didn't even look at the lower end models. Its my second SRT8, and after the first one (300C SRT8), anything else is a waste of my time and money. I'm a true car guy, I looked at mods before I made my car choice. Obviously some of you didn't do that, and now you're stuck with the result.

I'd much rather pay my $700 a month loan and be happy, then pay $350 a month and regret it for the next 5 years.

I think your statements are a little harsh. I don't think the V6 Model is a waste of money. Some of us have other things to spend our money on than our vehicle. If youre not one of them then congratulations thats great. Yes my car is important but for the 10,000+ difference I can pay more on my home and things for my kids. I made a choice to buy the V6 because I wanted my payment at a certain point and I'm not the guy out every weekend racing someone so the V6 works just fine for me.

I chose to buy the Predator to allow me to change my wheels size and smooth out idle as well as give me a little more power. Its not going to make my V6 a V8 and I don't expect it to but it doesn't make my V6 Junk either. If it were junk Diablo wouldn't support the car at all and they do.

Im not saying the automatic transmission is the nicest part of the car and I won't even go there on that thing.

Didn't we go over all this before? Whatever we think about a particular car, DS is in business. Market driven. It's "how many people with this car would be willing/want to spend ~$400 to have it make more power or mpg or drive differently"? That's it. Doesn't matter if it's a Yugo or a Veyron. Once you have more business than you have resources you focus the resources more on the larger or more profitable markets. The basic concept is pretty simple.

Actually most companies when they reach a point of more demand they expand their resources (unless you are Nintendo of course). Thats the point of being in business is to grow the business. There will always be transitional times when your statement holds true but if youre making money on all items and want to make more then make more. But I wasn't commenting on Diablo in my last post.

I was simply arquing the fact that the V6 is not worthless. Value depends on the consumer they determine the usefullness not the company selling it or the person that bought something else.

I got the V6 because I don't need to have a big powerful engine to make up for any deficit one might have in other areas....

Master johan, I have been waiting patiently ever since Master MikeW posted months ago that he had been playing with TCM on the LX cars and it was responding well to his changes. I will wait.... after all, winter is almost here so for the next few months I am keeping my foot off the throttle a wee bit...
