9r10 for the 6.4 guys is up and ready for download

Yea i can't seem to get the mileage out of this truck and I'm finally getting agitated haha.

Anyway back to stuff Ive fixed, i noticed at around 40mph if you hit it and it downshifts, it studders for a second and then agoes away. So i ramped in the fuel alittle more cleanly so it doesnt overload the truck. I had 4 degrees in this truck from 1000 -2500rpm and the guy reported no mileage increases. But thats only this guy so i gotta hear some feedback from all of you. I took the timing out of this guys truck for now

then again im also working with a very lifted f350..hence the shitty mileage. Not sure, NJK you'll have to let me know. I am sending you one last revision NJK, this should be the one youll like best

Don't worry NJK has been doing some hardcore testing for me...Wild bill as well. We have fixed almost all the issues so far. I will probably get another release out soon with all the tunes re updated with all the fixes. Im just going to give it a few days to get some mileage numbers out of the trucks

Starting to think this has nothing to do with the tunes. Heading to Dealer. I am sure i will need you help

Nice revision. My only comment would be that there seems to be a lag in power when hitting the throttle at 60mph/around 1500rpm. Plenty of power when hitting the throttle at 2000rpm.

My mileage with the previous update, before previous revision was an abysmal 11.8mpg.

Just filled up again and already put 100 miles on this am. Will keep you posted.

alright so we are making some progress, awesome. With what revision were you guys seeing serious mpg increases? I wanna pull that one up and take a look at it.

My mpg with the previous Extreme tunes has always been around 12.5mpg.

I'd like to wait a few days to run through this tank of fuel to get a good number for your latest revision. Should be filling up again by Monday at the latest.

sounds good steve. Was the truck ever getting exceptional mileage in an earlier revision of the tool itself? In other news WildBill just picked up a new 09 truck that has yet ANOTHER new cal id. I just added two to the tool so this guy must have just recently popped up. I got mike here to rip it from fords website so at least if anyone has this, it will be on the next revision with all these updated tunes as well, so no one will be waiting months to get a new cal id supported.

Gotta lover ford with there constant cal ids. looks like they cant tune these power strokes as well as you can don.

Ford has been releasing constant tune updates for the 6.0L since 2003 and now the 6.4L.

njk, the best I have seen from a 6.4L is 16mpg HWY WITH THE DPF DELETE.

But I have also seen stock 6.4L trucks get 16mpg, hand calculated, here in California. I notice that most of it depends on vehicle speed. Above 60 MPH and the mileage tanks hard (2-3 mpg) and rear end ratio also plays a part.

There is only so much you can do in a tune for the 6.4L's

18mpg for a 6.0L was exceptional, especially if that was after the terrible round of dealer updates for those trucks in 2007. Most 6.0L guys after those updates lost 3 mpg and were getting 14 mpg highway in their 6.0L. They would get them tuned to return back to 18-20mpg mileage.

I have never seen better than an average of 12.5mpg with any previous tune.

The best I have recorded is 13.5mpg on the highway, but that's at 80-85mph.
