But I only have 110V, and would have to get like a 500 foot extension cord to run it out my window. Don't think that would go over too well, especially during the school year with all the brats around. No sale.

I don't know the Mustang. Haven't owned/built one since the old Fox body 5.0. Nothing I could say would be even the slightest bit related to the current cars, besides the antique live axle that they refuse to kill. The Hemi I know and can give relevant information.

I've been in a lot of cars of all price ranges and makes and like or dislike something about each of them. To fight over cars and saying one is better than another is foolish and makes us all look bad and suckers for companies that only want your hard earned dollar and at the end of the day the manufacturers don't give a Damn about you. They all have their strengths and weekneeses and are mass poduced on assembly lines by robots. I'm here because I love cars and am eager to learn something from others.

@mike levy. If you hate our cars and us so much why are you here? Back to the subject please.... I uninstalled my Diablo until they get the tunes right. My 0-60 went from 4.3 to 5.5 with the 93 tune n worse on 91. I'm in Florida so I have mostly good gas and at sea level. What gives? No its not from knock either, data logged.

I've been here since 2007 when the first Predators came out for the Hemis. If I wasn't here, half the posts would go unanswered. Tech Support doesn't have time to answer the stupid questions.

I agree the maps need some refinement, it seems a large majority are having knock/timing pull issues. However, I'm currently running the 93 octane map with 20% throttle boost, MDS off, and +5%,+7.5%,+10% WOT fuel. Still picking up ST knock, but the car feels good for now, very snappy.

Question. I notice in your sig you did the reso deletes on your SRT. Did you get the blastin bobs kit? Did you notice any low end torque loss. I've been thinking about doing this, but I've heard mixed things about the low end torque loss.

Beta tested the Trinity. Have dealer access to this day. I'm no troll. Nobody has a problem with me besides you pathetic 2nd Gen LX owners. The ones who bought the cars that were old the day they started production on a 15 year old Mercedes platform with a transmission thats been around since 96, which speaks volumes about your intellect, or lack there of. I really couldn't care less what you people think of me. Everybody else knows what to expect from me, and the people who matter appreciate me. I'm an asshole. We all know it. I'm not gonna sugar coat shit to make you feel good. Don't like it? I don't give a fuck. The guys who work for the company have to be PC and nice to you. I don't. I'll happily say what they're thinking.
wow... way to diss a platform and every person who owns one.

Pathetic? I would say the definition of pathetic is someone who gets butthurt about what some stranger posted on the internet....

Insulting people you have never met or talked to because their choice in a vehicle is different from yours speaks volumes on YOUR intellect.

I think its funny how you mention that you dont give a fuck right in the middle of a childish "im not stupid, you are" post.

I did not use the Blastin Bobs. I had a local shop do it for $100 bucks. I didnt feel a difference + or -. Did you have any problems from response with your tranny? Mine will not down shift unless i punch it. Ive gotten no response fron Diablo. Im ready to sell this thing but i wanted to do a gear swap and need it but not if it makes it slower. Are the +5,+7.5,+10 at different increments in rpm range or are those only at WOT.

Hello all!

My Trinity will be here this afternoon and will load the 93 tune on my 2013 Challanger R/T and post the results.

LMAO!

But you have to admit that this is a fairly common problem for pcm's that keep getting encrypted every year. Not to mention the stories I have read where folks leave the car during tuning, run the radio, keep the AC on and like me, do not know how to get the updates needed. (At least from my experience with tuning an 11 and 12 Mustang when the tunes first came out for the 5.0) I had a number 8 cylinder failure with my 12 GT because of a CMR tune that was a bit too aggressive. That hurts!

IMO, some PCM's come from the factory with minor problems that are addressed at the dealership but do not shut down the engine. Put a new flash on a PCM that has a minor defect and it could escalate into something bigger.

It's obvious that user error accounts for some of these install issues. I think too few people realize how critical of a task it is to flash your cars PCM. A relatively simple task (point, click, enter, wait) but due to unforeseen variables it can leave your ass screwed. Successful installs with messed up tunes, however, is another story.

I hope I don't brick my new car lol!!

On a side note...

I 've read through every 2013 tune thread on this forum (and others) which has made me very hesitant to say the least. It appears to takes weeks for Diablo to work out all the bugs after releasing a new tune and it's apparent that they mostly rely on their customers to find even the most obvious bugs and report them. I manage IT at a sw/hw company and we have an extensive team of Systems Test people and thousands of Test Cases that must be run before a release is ever handed to the customer. Sure, there are always more bugs to be found and we too rely on the customer to find some things but these are usually minor issues and/or new features not "Hey I installed your software and now my entire system is down".

I do appreciate what Mike and others do here and let me tell you it's very hard work to manage both CS and ENG tasks for thousands of customers and a myriad of vehicles. I've seen Mike's posts in just about every Car forum out there.

They are extremely busy yet manage push out a custom tune update often within hours of the problem being reported.

I just hate hearing stories of people following instructions from Diablo and ending up with a bricked PCM. This is not good for business! :punisher:

So wish me luck everybody and If something goes drastically wrong you will definitely here about it this evening.
look closer :)

the update to correct any issues with the 13 models was released within 4 days of the initial release.

no problems with the latest versions.

Thanks

Thanks Mike! Do I need to download a specific update to get the latest 2013 tunes for my RT or do I just use the DS updater tool and it gets it automatically?
