it will still work to tune the ECM/engine no problem..

just can not tune the 8 speed tranny itself...

I should have clarified it a little better. I have a 15 Denali with a 6.2 and 8 speed. The truck is a Beast. If the transmission could be tuned to shift better this thing could easily run mid 13's with the right stickey tires. I ran a 9.2 in the 1/8 stock with a ton of wheel spin. And it gets about 22mpg to boot

So all the tunes on the I tune already have torque management off correct? I didn't get a chance to test it out last night. The in tune wouldn't read original backup. It would freeze on that screen for a long time. I took it inside and plugged it in about 8x to update until it finally worked. I was about to put it up for sale.

tq. mgmt. for the engine tunes is disabled, yes..

I bought my In Tune I 1000 for use with my 2013 Corvette 427 convertible. I recently traded that car in for a new Z06 convertible.
It is a 2016 but car is identical to the 2015. Can I use this In Tune on my new Corvette? I have updated the In Tune. Is there anything I need to do? Thanks!

update the intune to the latest updates and try it.. should be good to go.. if not, contact support..

no. I just replied to your other post.. the intune i1000 was discontinued over a year ago now.. no new updates for it, no new vehicle support..

you'd need an intune i2 i2030 or a Trinity.. BUT, the 2018's are not even supported yet anyway..
