So now I need to buy a download cable and disk.......where do I get this from.

The cables ar eavailable at any computer supply store.
USB to serial cable and a 12v 1 amp power supply.

same problem with my 2005 6.0
i just got my u7165 and it won't work on my truck.
same problems as the others.says key not on/starts to load then fails/says down load not complete/gives me a -10 .
I bought this truck new.it has only been in the shop oncefor a oil change and has never had the pcm touched.
has only 4500 miles on it.This unit should be totally updated seeing how it is new correct?
after reading all the issues with the others peoples problems I may return my unit to the vender i bought it from.
I have a 30 day return .
