hello, ok so ive read plenty of topics already concerning this. a while back say 4 years i tuned one of my vehicles, and i thought i removed it. My issue now is i am tracking which vehicle it is linked to as it will not restore backup. the vehicle i suspect that has it is saying no backup stored. i then try and tune it to make a backup and it says no open licence so it makes me beleive its the wrong vehicle but it will not work on any others either. My question is, how can i know which vehicle its linked to as im trying to tune my new truck.

says a ford and gm, but i do not own a ford. and that vin in the file doesnt seem to be adding up too any of my vehicles unless that is something else?

ok so i checked the vin out on the info.xml, it is linked to my vehicle. so now my issue is that, it will not backup as it says it does not exist. What would be the next step in restoring to stock and releasing the tuner? as stated, if i hit write tune, it says no open licence however this xlm file is clearly showing its linked to it and that would make sense as the last vehicle. However there isa slight chance i did not write a tune but just did quick adjustments for tire height, etc. if thats the case how do i reset the quick adjustments so it releases the tuner? thank you

Edit. Added pics of errors. Oddly enough i am getting 2 different vins during usage attempting to backup. Wonder how thats possible and how that can be fixed.

It likely needs to be updated before it will restore properly.

Those ollllld discontinued inTune i-1000 tools haven't been supported for at least 10+ years... there are no updates for it... can't do anything for it...

hi, thanks mikel, i totally forgot about that vehicle. thank you itll probably work. and i figured thered be little support for it. the app cant even connect which is unfortunate incase i had missed some updates since i bought it.

that's because those ollllld discontinued i-1000's are not supported anymore... The old update server that was used for those old tools for updates, is no longer in existence, hence why the update program won't work for it...

yeah on most gm trucks the Diablo tune is for a minimum of 91 octane.
