i installed the unlocked pcm and followed the instructions even updated before hand. but my car wont stay on after a few seconds. And yes i backed up the locked pcm first.

this sounds like the SKIM was not transferred from the old pcm to the new one. Normal behavior in that case.
Did you connect the tuner to the vehicle with the new pcm installed and let it write the data it read from the original pcm to the new one?
It will not run until that's done.
