I3 purchased from Amazon (New) looks used?

I purchased this brand new from Amazon but I’m concerned it’s used. The screen protector is installed wonky and the cable tie looks like it’s been re-tied.

Should I return it or is this normal?

I can’t try it on my vehicle as it’s 3000 miles away.

kinda looks like it might have been returned, but i wouldn't worry about it, i'm sure the device is fine.

If it’s been used on another car and then returned, will it be locked or can it be unlocked? I’m actually taking it home to Spain with me, so don’t want to have to return it to the US if it’s locked out

Or can I give you a serial and see if it’s been used?

yes, give me the serial, i can confirm if its been updated and used, but if it was never updated, we wont see anything.
if you update it, I will be able to see if there was a previous user or vehicle assigned to the device in the past.

no users listed, only update was via wifi, I assume by you, on 5/9
device does not show a last connected vin, so its never been plugged into a vehicle.
