Hi,
I have a 2016 Challenger R/T Plus Shaker manual transmission. I have purchased and installed the unlocked pcm and loaded the 93 octane tune. I am wanting to increase the rev limiter of the car to 6300 rpm, but the engine is still limited to the factory rev limiter. Wondering what I’m missing here to gain the increase in engine rpm.
Thanks
Devin

so you have adjusted the rev limiter settings and installed the tune, but not noticing a change?
please post the pcm last tune written from the tunes folder on the t2 drive so we can take a look.

Re: 2016 Challenger R/T Plus Shaker Rev Limiter
Hi, thanks for the reply.
As requested, I have attached the last written tune for my Challenger.
Yes, I have increased the rev limiter and have applied the tune but have not noticed any increases in engine rpms before the rev limiter is hit.
I do appologize, I posted this by accident under the T2. But my tuning device is an I3.
Thanks,
Devin

Re: 2016 Challenger R/T Plus Shaker Rev Limiter
how are you testing this?
all the limiters appear to be raised to 6600 except the rev limit in autostick, which would only be active when self shifting with the paddles or shifter.
The attached file has that set to 6600, LMK if that was it.

Re: 2016 Challenger R/T Plus Shaker Rev Limiter
The car has the T6060 6 speed manual transmission.
When on the page for rev limiter in drive I set the RPM for 6000, then tried again at 6300. Driving between both tunes.
When I hit the rev limiter the tach seems to hold at roughly 5700 er so, I don’t hold it there for long. The tach never goes past there. I have not actually logged what the engine is revving, just going by sight of the tach. I hope that it’s not hitting 6600because that’s supposed to trash the valve train with factory valve springs. The sound of the car does not sound like it’s revving any higher than my truck which is set at 5850.
Update - I plugged back into the car and looked at the settings. Rev limiter in drive was set to 6300 RPM. Rev limiter in neutral was at the default of 0 increase. Retuned the car changing the Rev limiter in neutral to +600. That was the only change that i made. Did a log while maxing the car out in first and second gears. Max RPM when the rev limiter kicked in was now 6090 according to the log. Was able to see the tach hit 6000 RPM and the engine sounded like it was reving higher.
