Does the Diablo tune or Diablews transmission tunes help 6l80 TC reliability?
2016 Silverado. Did the diablo tune at 50k years ago, so I did the canned trans firmness tunes. Just paid for diablews tunes this year which made it shift even better. 135k with regular trans fluid changes and lower temp thermal bypass a few years ago. Trans shifts good and firm no shudder, yet at least... My question is have other people had a good long term trans reliability from these tunes on their trucks? Do these trans tuned work well similar hp tuners where people like to remove TC slip or lock ups which seems to be bad on TC clutches. I know it always seems hit or on these transmissions but want to see other peoples experiences with these tunes

You did? I don't have any info with your name or email address...
But yeah... I do not touch or do anything about the torque converter lockup... There are no settings for that in the tune file... And besides, disabling the tcc lockup can lead to higher tranny temps and less efficiency, so I wouldn't do it anyway... I do adjust the tranny shifting settings, and over all these years, no-one has had any issues, and many many many of them have over 100,000 miles on their tunes with no tune-related issues... I adjust the shift pressure/firmness, shift points, shift quickness (how quick it performs the actual shift)... with the shift pressure and quickness adjustments, it helps to reduce/eliminate slip...
