hey i got the u7194 predator for my new denali 6.2 and it says no vehicle in database..is there a solution for this?

I tried v.9r05 and still doesnt work, it says cant read vehicle type.. vehicle VIN # is 2GTEK638X81312606 any help is very apreciated

call tech support. maybe the calids are to new for the predator.

If it says it can not read vehicle type then there might be some other issues.
Did you have your vehicle at the dealer recently?

nope its brand new it only has 500 miles on it, just did the first oil change today but it dodnt work before the oil change neither!

what i actually want it for so bad to change my speed limiter, the truck goes only 90 mph now and where i live theres no speed limit so i'd like to programm it pretty soon!

i have the same truck,.....i love it...i had problems w/my speed limiter till i downloaded the 9r05 crom it shifts out of 5th gear into 6th at 120mph... i think top speed is around 145mph...i have about 10,000 miles on it ...i love it! ..though after several logs i still get light pinging occationally ...i cant seem to get dialed in. enjoy the new truck!

pinging, as you describe it, is a result of one of two things (or a combo of both )

1) gas that does not have sufficient octane rating to deal with the spark timing

2) spark timing too aggressive for the gas you are using.

What fuel are you using? What tune are you running? Have you messed with the timing over and beyond what's in the tune?

If you're running Shell, ditch that and try a good fuel (ExxonMobil, Sunoco, Texaco, etc..)

As i said before, the error message you say it is getting is not an unsupported one, the predator is unable to see your vehicle, do you have the key in the right (acc) position?
