Restore from previous owner

Post by Rillester »

I bought a car from a dealership here in Sweden and after that I bought a diablosport i3 tuner.
But when I put in the obd it said a previous tune already been done to the car. Some previous owner had one done apparently but I can’t find whom nor the tuner.
How can I reset to factory so I can use my device?
Best regards,
Rickard

Interesting that you bought a Mustang in Sweden that had already been tuned by one of our devices :)

In this case, the device has read and saved a copy of the file from your PCM.
Its in the folder called tunes on the i3 drive when you connect the device to a PC.
If you attach that file here, I'll gladly get you going.

Hi
the car is a camaro ss 1le 2015, not a Mustang.
Hope the file is right.
best regards

Not sure where I got Mustang from, sorry about that!

Load the attached file to the root of the i3 drive and let it import the file.

Then go to the car and select the tune menu and let it load this and it will set the pcm back to stock. It may ask us to repeat this for the TCM if it is tuned as well.

It worked. Thanks a lot.
Now. Is it possible to get a custom tune to the car?

I have longtube headers, open air filter, race catalyst on it.
What is recommended and how do I go about forward
Thanks again

you'll want to contact a Powercal dealer for a custom tune, check out diablewtune.com or diablotoona.com for a few good options.

It's a 1LE Camaro, no TCM since they only came with the TR6060 M6... 8)

I can definitely get you hooked up with a custom tune for your Camaro... I've done a thousand of those cars over the years, including my own...

You can email me directly at: diablo DOT help AT gmail DOT com
