Post by obsessionz »

hey mike, i submitted an rma on 1-12-09, i received the automated responce telling me i should receive a rma confirmation shortly..... we have been screwing around with this programer since dec.25th, the product has never worked, and no one has done anything in a timley matter to help us, i am very discourage about this whole thing, all i want is an R.M.A to get this thing fixed. i have left two messages w/the rma dept. and i have not had a call back. obsessionz,
I submitted an rma on 1/13/09 and like you have heard nothing also....... Before doing the rma thing a posted several times on this site asking for support as the cruise control don't work and the shifts stink with any of the tunes installed. I ran each tune for a couple hundred miles to allow it to "learn" but that didn't help. This is the last post I will make on this site, why waste my time. I just wanted you to know you are not the only customer thats seems to be being ignored................... What a shame, i followed this product for a year before it was finally released and bought into the company, I my have expected to much. Also I don't know how old you are but it seems to me in the "old" days before e-mail and internet when you had to speak person to person companies tried alot harder to satisfy the customer. E-mail and fourms just make it to easy for companies to ignore you, know one to hold accountable.

RMA? Don't bother, heres a string of e-mails below from diablo................. what a cluster. Note the original RMA was 1/13/09. Once again a miracle of the internet and e-mail deflects accountability.

After i ordered the pred from your website i had to order the power supply and cable so i went to your site and ordered it, again your site kicked me to shopatron (they suck). After two weeks the parts did not arrive, they did not answer two e-mails and two phone calls. The parts nevevr did arrive, the only way i got my money back was to have my credit card company argue the charge...........shopatron sucks, now i think maybe diablo does too........................KMA

You are not stuck with the tuner you can call shopatron for a return number at 805 547 8368.

HEY, I BOUGHT IT FROM YOUR SITE AND REGISTERED THE SERIAL NUMBER. When i ordered from the diablo site it kicked me to shopatron (they suck), but it was through your website!!!!!!!!!!!!Duh
So your saying im stuck with this tuner, even though the CRUISE CONTROL DON'T WORK WITH ANY OF THE TUNES INSTALLED AND THE PART THROTTLE PERFORMANCE IS LUCKLUSTER AT BEST, STOCK IS BETTER AT PART THROTTLE, there's your "MORE DETAILS AS TO WHAT THE UNIT IS NOT DOING AS ADVERTISED" information. I have a 05 1500 ram and it seems to me from following all the posts in your website and HTC that alot of 05 ownwers are dissatisfied like myself. If its an 05 issue why don't someone just tell us that you are aware of it and are working on it rather then ignoring posts and pretending like everything is wonderful..........

If you wish to return this product for a refund you must check your receipt and contact the dealer it was bought from. I do not show your name in my system as being sold directly from DiabloSport as you indicate on your RMA form. If you would like to send this product for inspection/warranty I need to know more details as to what the unit is not doing as advertised. Thank you for your time please let me know.

Sincerely

Brian K

yeah, it's not a "diablosport" sanctioned store, since they don't sell directly to the public... when you order from "shop-a-tron", your order gets placed with a dealer/reseller that is in your area, based on your address info.... doesn't matter if it's linked to from their site or not...

as a scenario - that's like me putting a link on my site to a product on amazon.com... now if you order that product and have issues with it, you don't/can't come to me about it, you have to deal with amazon, as they're the "vendor" that it got sold/delivered from...

Uh...yeah, gonna have to agree here. Shit happens...it sucks, but you deal with it. Going off on some tech that's simply trying to get your information, find out what's going on and help you is hardly the best way to handle the situation. Do you scream at the waitress when the cook prepares your meal wrong? That's a good way to get shitty service and a pile of snot mixed in with your food.
