Can't connect Predator to PC

Post by wachin »

Just purchased a Predator U7135 with revision v9r09. Trying to get lastest revision downloaded.

Have a Jeep GC SRT8 and a PC with Windows Vista 32bit.

Down loaded the DS Downloader and the Windows Vista driver from your website.

When I plug in the Predator, the device software installation begins but then fails.

In the Control Panel, a new COM port is showing (COM7, 8 or 9) with an exclamation point. The DS down loader in Auto Connet mode is only looking for COM 1, 2 or 3.

My cable is a USB to serial with no name on it.

See attached screen shots.

Please advise on possible solutions.

Thanks.

go into your Windows device manager and set your usb cable to COM port 1, 2, 3, or 4, and set the baud rate to 115,200... then you'll be all set...
