In trucks we generally recommend that you can turn the first 2 off, but leave the 3rd one on.

agree. first two off, third one on. increase line pressure a little, increase shift speed. let it eat.
run it til it blows, build it better

Why does my u7193 not have these options? My TM option is only 'On, off, or No change". The truck is an 03 2500HD 6.0. My version is also 9r07

your truck is an 03, so your tune/PCM probably doesn't have 3 individual settings like the 05's, since the PCM's and programming are different...

No, the old tools have 3 settings, and the new tools only have 1 as the first 2 are now 'off' in the tune.

hmmm.. then goosemax must be wrong about the settings he actually has in his predator - must just be reading the info here on the site about those 3 settings... cuz he has the same model and revision as HDJoe... so if HDJoe doesn't have all 3, then goosemax shouldn't have them either...

mikel,
I have a 7193 9r07 in a 03 Sierra and from another post I read you may be able to make even more adjustments to trans shifting. I have a TransGo shift kit and the 1-2 shift is harsh and quick. OK when flat out but leaves a lot to be desired at part throttle. i have the setting all the way to soft and need more. Can you help? And what does "no change" mean if you have "on" & "off" choices.

So what is reccomended for these "none optioned" tunes? Turn off the TM altogether?

Turn off the TM altogether.......then ad a 150 shot of nitrous, and
you'll be set....J/K.....
