1 Predator locked after update, 2 others are version 1.xx

So I have been buying and selling programmers on the side for a couple years and recently I bought a Predator for my new truck and loved it so I started buying and selling those as well. I have not run into any problems until now. I have 3 Predators that I am unsure about. I usually verify that they are unlocked by checking the tool status or the last tune written.

I have two right now that are version 1.xx. I have never had one of these before this week but they did not have a tool status or show last tune written option but they did have a view ticks option. Both of which say there are 0 ticks left. I did some looking and found that the 1.xx will not work on another truck even if they are set back to stock settings. 1 of these is a U7180 revision 1.11 and the other one is an older Granatelli that is the equivalent of a U7180 for 01-03 Duramaxrevision 1.07. They have both been set back to stock settings, I have heard I can send them in be upgraded, is this true? How do I go about that? Will these work on another truck with out being sent in?

My other Predator that I am having difficulty with is a U7131. When I received it, I went to "show last tune written" and it said "original backup". I sold it to a guy with an 07 Cummins who said it would not work on his truck. He talked to Diablosport and they told him it needed to be updated. He sent it back to me and I updated it to 9r03 but after I did that I looked at the "show last tune written" and it says "Original backup + quick adjust VIN:.". I thought that wasn't right but I sent it back to him anyways and he said when he tried to use it that time it just said that it was not licensed for his truck. He sent it back to me and I just refunded him his money but how do I get this so it will be unlocked again? It was fine before I updated it.

The 2 U7180s can be sent in for the $99 hardware upgrade, and the U7131 needs to be powered up in the truck and call us to fix it.
