Locked out of Ford Excursion

I have problem with a Ford Excursion MY 2000. I am running a 9r03 U7170. I have been on the phone with Diablo tech guys that have done their best to be helpful. I programmed the truck with the 85 hp setting, ran fine for months. I went to set the truck back to factory settings. That process went fine up until i was all done and went to start the truck and it WOULDNT START. I got on the phone, they had me try to put a tune back in, but then had me stop part way through. They then had me disconnect the batteries so that it would revert back to something and unlock the truck so it would run. It did work, in that I could start the truck. I am not sure what is in the truck now, factory or diablo tune. And I am not sure if the tuner is reset or if it has the factory setting from my truck programmed in it. They told me i have to pay 85 bucks to have the truck re-flashed and then provide them with something docummenting the re-flash and then they can re-program the tuner so it will work again. As far as I am concerned, i simply was using the product that I purchased the way it was intended, and it messed up.
I don't care about my factory setting, i would be happy if they would simply reset the tool and let me try re-programming the truck no matter what is in the truck. But it's as if they think i'm tryin to run the tune in more than one vehicle. What can i do to convince them otherwise as opposed to having to have the truck re-flashed?

Somehow when you restored the backup file, it caused an issue with the PATS system.

I then asked you to reinstall the 85 HP tune with the PATS enabled, and it still did not start, so we tried the batteries, and voila, it started.

You then kept calling asking us to force the backup, which made no sense, as the tool was not having any problem writing to the vehicle, so a force was not needed, also, if you restore it, it is likely that you'll wind up with another no start, since it happened last time.

You told me that you were in the process of restoring the backup file to take it to a dealer for a recall, which 99% of the time leads to a reflash, which is why we suggested you just take it to the dealer, see if they reflash it, then if they did, call us and we'd reset the tool for you.

Now, if they did not reflash it, you still have the 85 HP tune installed, unless you have messed with it again.

So, I guess my question then is this. I have his customer's vehicle with the 85hp tune in it. As is with all your products, I (not having done anything with the Predator that I shouldn't have) should be able to put the factory setting back into the customer's vehicle. What you seem to be telling me is that, no I can't, I have to have the truck re-flashed for the customer and pay the $85 myself because the Predator didn't do what it was supposed to do! But to you guys that seems to be no big deal! I know for a fact that the PCM or ECM whatever it is on these trucks does not get re-flashed because I just had my own 7.3 excursion in their this morning and they did no such thing. So, as far as I'm concerned this is not an option. I know you guys can say screw you and not help me because I"m sure you have many more things to attend. But what I seems to be the fair thing would be to get me to the point where I can use the Predator for the customer they way I sold it to him for.

Acsamuelsen I also called them on my 2001 F250 that I installed the 110hp tune and went to start the truck and nothing. When I called they told me that the Excursion has a alarm for the factory thinks im steeling my own truck. Did you alsohave to remove it?
