CMR tune for 03 ram hemi???
I have an 03 rc dodge ram hemi 2wd pickup and still have superchips in. I bought the diablo but waiting for tcm control. I am wondering if its worth to get a custom tune this summer. I have to travel 5 hours to nearest certified tuner. I have been told your computer takes time to adjust and its impossible to show up on dyno and get it right that day. I also am wondering if its even worth it because there is no tcm control for 03's yet so most have said to just keep superchips. I have headers, cai, 4.56 gears, comp 260 cam, viper efan that needs to be installed. I am also wondering about which tune to run it on because we only have 91 or 92 octane in nebraska and I would like to run 93 tune, is this dangerous for truck?

Well, with that cam the only thing unsafe is running any cammed tune, that is a terrible idea, you really need custom tuning to take advantage of that set up.

Lol. "the only thing unsafe is running any cammed tune"... great typio
I think it might take a couple of seconds for the computer to adjust to fuel? And that's closed loop. They're going to be tuning for open loop where it doesn't adjust at all. If the tuner told you that you might want to stay away.I have been told your computer takes time to adjust and its impossible to show up on dyno and get it right that day.
