U7130 no glow plugs

I have a 2005 Dogdge 3500 4X4 quad cab w/ 5.9l Cummings. Been running the Predator since the truck was 2 weeks old. Only ever put it back to stock mode if it's going in for a service. I have used R18,19 and now on R22. What I have noticed since it got a little cold, is the glow plugs/plate doesn't work when ignition is turned on. They do cycle once truck has been started, but this doesn't help with starting first thing in the morning.

At first I figured it was the truck, but I noticed once when downloading the stock program the night before taking it to the dealer for a regular service, the next morning glow worked like it should. That next morning my glow light came on for like 20 seconds, unlike the quick light check I get with any tunes installed (no glow).

I then tried both performance and extreme tunes (my normal setting) and neither of them the glow plugs work. What needed to be done to work as normal.

PS I have a VW TDI and it fires the glow so fast, you never notice or even have to wait. This CTD fires up so well even without the glow, I have just been living with the problem.

OK Lee, I have a solution for you. Using the Predator, get the vehicles calid and email it to me at [email protected]. (Options/troubleshooting/show calid).
Let me know which tune(s) you use most often and I will send you a custom tune(s) to address this issue.
We have been trying these tunes out but we are not getting feedback from the people we have sent them to so far.
Any feedback you can provide is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the quick response, email sent. I love the Extreme tune, all I ever use. Even towing, thats what I use on my 6K trailler. I have guages and just let off when needed.

Good deal Lee. i was not in the office today, but I will respond to ypur email tomorrow. Our Cummins tuner was starting jury duty today, but I'll get a tune out to you ASAP.
