Problem is that its a rebadged Billet Tech unit and will only fit the LX V8's with that mount.

Thats who makes them yes.
And whatever other mounts they offer with them will work with this one.
I thought i saw some on the jeeps.

The Jeep application attaches to the strut brace.

Yeah, its on the Strut brace, but nobody leaves it there.. With it higher then the manifold, gravity is working against it. Alot of us use custom brackets and mount it down in the intake area.

Gravity? Why would that matter? Are you worried about oil condensing before it gets to the catch can and pooling in the hose?

More worried about it backflowing from the hose when the engine isn't under load.

No worrys,There still is a vacuum even at idle.Just make sure the can is not full.

and the fumes really dont condense until it gets inside the can against the steel wool/baffle setup.
