Rough idle

I have a 2007 with the 5.9 and i have mine set on the tow setting and it has one nasty idle. I have changed it through all the settings and its the same thing. I ended up taking it out cause i know it can't be good for the motor. The fuel filter is new so i know thats not the problem. If someone has a solution for this problem please let me know.

do u have the newest update from here,if not try that first

the lastest revision smoothed my idle, not 100% but alot better! After u load the new tune in the tool off the computer, you have to install it throught the options menu. You should be fine after that.

click on the support tab at top, then click on down loads, then fill out the info and for the U7131 download the 9rv03, I have never done it there is a guy in San antonio TX that does it for me for $25.00. since I dont have the cords.

I have the same issues. Have had the programmer for 3 years now. Everytime there is a new revision or I add something to my truck I check to see if the rough idle will go away. It hasn't yet. I don't use it anymore which is unfortunate because the power and throttle response is awesome but my truck sounds terrible. Especially at high idle. I have my fingers crossed that one day it will be fixed.
