I have ordered a U7194 for my 07 chevy 2500HD 6.0 gas with the 6 speed auto tranny. I have installed a free flow intake and exhaust system. Is the programmer ready to go out of the box or does it need updating? The programmer will be here 05-28 Thursday. Thanks for any help.

Usually they are up to date. Make sure when you set it up, do the LTFT trim adjustment as outlined in stickied thread. That should make up for the intake and exhaust mods during cruise.

If you want to try to gain some WOT performance, you would need a custom tune, by either going to a CMR dealer or talking to one of the few mail order tuners that use CMR.
