Diablo Sport U7145 SN/224139
V .9r03
2007 Ford Mustang AT, V6

I purchased an u7145, from Amazon.com to tune my 2007 Mustang V6.
I read the instructions several times to make sure I didn’t mess anything up (yea ironic isn’t it) and then proceeded to connect the “hell raiserâ€

Well just a update, I got a call beck from the dealer and the ECU is fried.
The entire thing will cost about $1000.00, not to mention the cost of a flash tuner I cannot use.
Any way, It will take about 2 business days to get a new ECU, that puts it at tuesday or wednesday before i can get it back.
There is a risk to every gaine.

Would still like some tech suppport if i can get it, thanks..

Don't pay the dealer to fix it till you let us evaluate it. If we can't get you fixed over the phone, we should be able to fix it if you ship it in to us...

Please call our tech support on Monday morning.

Thanks,

Well crap the car is at the dealer, and they have already looked at it. They tried to reflash the ECU back to factory settings, no go. Do I need to call them and do what? I really dont think they will let me trouble shoot it inthe parking lot.
The part is not due in untill tuesday, and it is totaly undrivable.
Any sujgestions? I do want to use a tuner, I just dont know how to make sure the one I have is not jacked up in some way.
How can i tell if it has been setup on a previous car before? Very frusterated and at a loss, can we check the unit to make sure it is good? And yes Ill call tech support on monday morning. thank you for the weekend response.

Call our tech line and they will assist you in forcing the original backup into your pcm. If that don't work then you may be able to get an RMA# to ship it in and have us attempt to fix it.

I wonder how this turned out. I did something very similar. I was stuck at a turnpike rest station after I incorrectly downloaded something wrong. Thank goodness Mike answered the phone in tech support and forced the stock tune back in my car. Car runs like a champ now with the 93 octane tune. Thanks Mike, I owe you!!
