U7164 update progress

Post by SCGt94 »

We will start a new thread so I can easily focus on everyone and anyone's questions about this update. This update is primarily focused on those who have the cal ID's:

87ua 14c204 cf
7u7a 14c337 ab

The update will correct all the erratic shifting, poor mileage, Regen and general performance problems. In regards to those who are getting a trouble code clearing problem, the one that says unit 2 failed to clear, I believe i may have a solution for it but probably won't know for sure until you guys get to try it. Tunes are made but my engineers are tied up at the moment with another issue. Once they can get back to me I will begin extensively testing the new tunes and try and find any bugs. If there was an issue here that you have not heard me address, you are more then welcome to shoot me and email or post it up on here.

Thanks for the update Don. That's the communication we were expecting to begin with. Even if it takes longer, at least we know what's up.

Not a problem herb. I believe with that unit 2 failed to erase is that in the code for predator it is not asking the tcm for codes, hence the unit 2 failed to erase. Just one more problem Ill need to take a look at before this guys released. Not really too big of an issue though. I assume your probably all getting tcm codes because of the erratic shifting from the extreme tune...makes sense. Herb as far as your code goes, i believe it might be associated with a map table in the tunes, it was alittle wacky so i fixed that. We'll see if that fixes your problem if it does great, if not ill have to look into it alittle further, maybe write you some custom stuff until we can hopefully alleviate the problem.

I'll cross my fingers that we can finally be done with this. Now if you wanted to send me an emulator for those pesky emissions and pressure sensors so i can put in a delete pipe, I promise I'll only drive offroad from now on. I'll even sign a waiver.....
