John Kolivas "Not playing any GAMES"

Congrats to John Kolivas for working his way through the pack in SSO in his Diablosport sponsored mustang at the NMRA/NMCA superbowl in Joliet this weekend. What is so special about this accomplishment you ask? Well, he was going to run the standard 325/50/15 tire that was approved earlier in the year. But when he showed up and the big radial would not pass the go/no go gauge test he was forced to use the smaller 275/60/15 drag radial tire or the 28x10.5 slick. Being a true drag radial racer to the bone. He chose to stay with what he knows best. Talk about adding fuel to a already hot fire. He then went on to set the record for the fastest time on this size tire with a 7.33@194 mph and then went on to capture the win at the end of the day. Congats to John and all his hard working crew.
