I just purchased a used U7131 and ofcourse took it straight to my truck. I applied a tune and everything seemed to go well. After a few days I want to place the original backup on my truck and it tells me that it is not able to restore the backup. Is there something I can do?

what was the fix? I have the exact same problem. I loaded my tune in a year ago and attempted to restore to factory. I got the same message. I also loaded in the tow tune and tried to restore it again and got the same " can not restore message"

I too had the same problem. Tech support said to install the stock tune from the predator. What a disappointment that was. Went from 17-18 intown and 21 hwy(1750 rpm with stock tires) to a dismall 16 intown, 19 hwy. Knowing others are experiencing the same issue, it now becomes apparent that the predator has a gliche. Tech people at Diablo please fix this problem and duplicate the factory tune.

What process did you use to install the stock tune. That is my whole problem, I can't install the stock tune per the message "unable to restore backup." I can install any of the 4 tunes except the backup.

It was about a year ago, check with the tech department and let them know to correct this reoccuring issue the right way.
letting them know that this is an issue with many others should get them to find an answer asap.
