In another post Monte & gump2388 helped me figure out that the COT was keeping me from leaning the PE anymore than 12.23 (thanks guys). I shut it off for a couple of datalogs and I can now get commanded fuel to 12.67.
I assume the factory calculation for COT is for the stock exhaust system. I have long tube headers and hi-flo cats. Is anyone running long tubes w/ cats with the COT off?
What about the COT delay setting? Does this just delay the fuel being added when the ECM senses that it needs to keep the CATS cool. Anyone using this? If this is how it works than this seems to be a bit or a compromise bewteen shutting it off completely and just delaying it.
I don't track the car, but would like my WOT fuel to be consistent when I do get on it.

if you still have CAT's on there, you need to leave the COT enabled, otherwise you will burn them up...

RE: COT dealy - C6 Corvette - U7194/SLP7194
really? 12.6 doesn't seem lean enough to me to burn up cats especially where they're located now, but I guess that why I'm asking the question. I figured that what the computer may think and what's actually happening may be skewed now that I've altered the exhaust and intake systems. Seems no good to tune with COT off if it's just going to kick in anyways and you'll never get to the setting you want.
What about the delay setting? What is that used for? Can I find a happy medium here and delay the enrichment?

it just cuts on for a min and cools off the converters then goes back stock afr. if u was on the street instead of the dyno they prolly wouldnt come on as much cause u got air flowing around em more than the dyno does.
RE: COT dealy - C6 Corvette - U7194/SLP7194
going back to the dyno on Friday. I've currently got the COT off so I can dial in the AFR without it kicking in and going rich.
Could you explain the COT delay settings in more detail for me. I don't want to damage the CATS, but I also want to be able to lean the car out to at least 12.5:1. Can I accomplish this with COT ON and changing the delay settings? I've got to believe there is a way I can set this up to get 12.5 without COT kicking in all the time. Thanks.

the COT delay is for how long it takes before the COT kicks in...
the longer the delay, the longer it will be before the COT kicks in...
in the diablo tunes, this delay is already bumped up to 30 seconds (forget what stock is, but it's much lower so it kicks in sooner)
