Spark knock usioually occours @ about 3k 4500 rpm up hill and passing @ 1/2 - 3/4 throttle.... using diablo tune and 93 octane v.8r10

8R10 is a really old revision. You may want to check on updating the tool as well.

shouldn't be... the tune is made for 91 octane gas, and you're using 93 octane.... unless the gas is bad....
it's not Shell, is it?? lol...
can you HEAR the knock, or are you just seeing it on the predator when you monitor the data?

what country? 95 octane in Europe and Mid East is equal to North American 90-91octane. If you have Diablo tune installed, its made for 93 octane which would be your 98 octane.

6.2l and k.r.? i sure read alot of post w/ kr problems. i have the same truck ..lower the spark advance .5 degrees..all the logging in the world wont combat to much timing advance. even 98 octane wont fix to much timing advance...i messed w/mine for months ..finally lowered my timing and no more audible kr . runs perfect now!
