r17 problem Re-post

I updated from r10 to r17 and could not start the truck after the update. After talking with tech support, I sent my PCM and u7165 in for a PCM flash and re-set the U7165. I received the PCM and U7165 today and the truck started fine. The U7165 has r14 and I can't find out any info on it. Additionally, the r17 is still on the web.
What was the problem and is the current r17 OK now? What does r14 do vs R10?
My CALID is VXCFQDA
I am Not sure if that changed when you sent the re-flash back. I could not read the vehicle when the problem occured.
This is a re-submitted post since I don't know how to move it to the top per Mike.

I will have one of our diesel techs chime in tomorrow with the answers you are looking for.
For future reference, to bump a thread to the top, you can simply post in that thread again and it goes right to the top.
Thanks
Mike

There isnt an issue with r17. R17 has been tested on your PCM. As you requested wanting r14, we put r14 on the predator . And the difference between 14 and 10 is simply tune changes and calibration support.
