Problem with U7165

I have an 04 F250 Diesel
the programmer was updated to R17
the truck calid is VXAP2N2

I tried to tune the truck but keeps saying that the tool and the truck are different calids.

What could be the problem here?

Did you go to the Ford dealer recently? It appears that the predator is locked to another calibration/vehicle.

The Predator was new when i uploaded the r17 version and the truck was at the dealer like 2 months ago to get reflashed.

Did you restore the backup before going to the dealership?

i bought the predator after i got the truck flashed so there was no backup in the tool

Sounds like someone took a backup on a another vehicle and the tool is married because there is another trucks backup on it. Where did you buy the Predator from? (which dealer) Its passable that tech support can help you over the phone with this issue but you will have to fax in your proof of purchase.

i got it working, i just uploaded the stock tune back into the vehicle and reset the tuner.
