New Owner and a few Questions

Post by hilclmr »

Is it safe to run my truck with the tone ring advanced 4 degrees?
on all progams?
Do the non stack programs have timing?
How much?
Do the Stack programs have timing?
How much?
I read else where on the board that Diablo only uses timing on the extreme tune, How much?
Basically I need to know wether I should set my tone ring back.
Also is it not advised to use the puck on anything other than Stacked tunes?

Thanks in Advance, Mike

I love this thing!

Not sure on the tone ring, have not tried it, dont see why though.
The only programs that have timing added are the extreme/extreme stacker for the 03-pre04.5's.
How much we add we keep to our selfs, it is well within safe ranges. Just make sure your motor is at operating temps.
Using the puck on non-stack tunes will give you a low fuel pressure ses light.

what about on the 7131? Which tunes add timing? I have a rokktech sensor on the truck right now, but it's set to stock timing. Would love to add the extra timing, though....

The tow tunes(stack/no-stack) have no timing added, all the others have gradually more timing the higher the hp.
