2008 Silverado vortecmax- 'modify parameters not available'
I just recently got a predator u7194 for my 08 chevy silverado 1500 6.0. I had to download updates for the tuner and was able to choose from 'Diablo tune' and '87 oct tune'. However I am not able to modify anything. When I choose 'Modify tune' it says 'Modifying parameters not supported for this vehicle/transmission type. (2)' I was told to post my issue and a copy of my original backup tune here for some help in the next update revision.

yep...
Mike/Johan will get support added for your vehicle's calibration in the next update revision...

You might need to revert to r10. I will put it in this message. A few of us with the Camaros had the same problem with R11 and went back to R10 all was fixed. R11 just added some vehicle support but I think it has a bug in it on our programmer which they will have to get back to on Monday. Good luck and let me know how this works. Also RESTORE your original stock tune onto your vehicle BEFORE making this update.

I downloaded 9r12 and everything checks fine in capability with my truck.
Next step for me is to do some logs when I get the chance.
Much thanks to all for getting this new revision taken care of.

you're able to modify parameters?

Yes I am. Sorry I forgot to include that in the last post.
There are a lot of parameters that I'm not sure about yet. But I think all I need to do to benefit a log anyways is turning the DoD off. And I will try to get back on here later today with a list of parameters that I am unsure about.

Ok I am back with the list of parameters that I don't know about:
Converter Calibration - COT on/off
- COT time delay
Fan Control -192F ECT - 235F ECT 0-99.9%
Injector Calibration - Injector Slope
smaller -40 % 40 Larger
Power Enrichment - WOT fuel 2k-3.8k, 4k-4.9k, 5k-7k (IS THIS IN RPMS?) lean -20 % a/f ratio 20 rich
Rev Speed Limit - Speed Limit 1 0-155 mph
- Speed Limit 2 0-155 mph
- Speed Limit on/off
Spark Calibration - WOT spark 1k-3.8k, 4k-5k, 5.2k-7k (IS THIS IN RPMS?) retard -10 deg 10 advance
I know that these might sound like dumb questions. Maybe it will help someone else besides me as well.
1. What is the COT time delay?
2. COT on/off just means turning off the Catalytic Overtemp protection right? (so it doesn't dump a lot of fuel to cool the cats down)
3. Does thhe Fan control with fan power at different temperatures in fahrenheit mean % of the fan's power limit? And what is ECT?
4. What does the % with Injector Calibration smaller/larger?
5. What is the Power Enrichment a/f ratio %? What does going -20 (lean) or +20 (rich) exactly do?
6. With the Rev Speed Limit, why is there a speed limit 1 and 2 with another option for on/off?
7. Does the Spark Calibration 1k-3.8k, 4k-5k, 5.2k-7k mean 3 choices in rpms (1,000rpm-7,000rpm)? If yes, why is there nothing from 0-999k, 3,801-3,999k, and 5,001k-5,199k?
