09 silverado predator newbie no clue what to do

i have a 09 Silverado Ls and a 6 inch lift on it and 305 tires on it and i just purchased the predator to change the fuel map so that i could get better gas milage on it for a trip i have coming up in March. i plug it in and the only option i had was to add the stock performance tune and what i want is to also adjust the speedometer tach for bigger tires as well as get better gas milage! any help im a total newbie with the predator THanks

sounds like you have a newer calibration ID in the ecm that is not currently supported...

use the predator to view the calibration ID's, and post them all up here in the forum...

and also post up a copy of your original backup tune file...

i have no clue what this all means but i reverted back to my stock tune

what do i do next to get what i want out of this predator it was expensive

man your stuck with it just like i am.. MIKE a moderator told me that the new revision should be out next week early.. this was last tuesday or so i think when he told me.. so hopefully you wont have to wait as long as i did or as long as some of the other guys have...

no just want the truth! i dont have one that works and neither do some customers of mine.. understand it takes time but im getn pressure from them so it goes down the line... i dont work at diablo so i can only tell them what you tell me.

i went back to the dealer i got the Diablo from and he downloaded the new 9r13 for me and it worked on my 09 Silverado. i guess we will have to wait and see if the MPG increase like i would want it to but just so people know that the 9r13 is available and i have not tried to calibrate for the bigger tire size that will be on my list to do.
i will hopefully keep other like me posted on whether or not i see a big enough change to recommend buying a $400.00 programmer
lets keep the fingers crossed and hopefully some money in my pocket!

I just received my Predator on Thursday - was loaded with r911. Installed OK on an 09 Suburban 5.3l. Returned car to stock tune, uploaded r913 and then reinstalled - again, everything worked as advertised. So far I like it - I'll report back on mileage soon.
