04' 3500 ram dually just installed trinity ?'s

Post by Trulywickedcustoms »

Hey guys I'm new to the forum, and new to diablo, and I guess new to diesil power.. Lol
but anyways I have an 04 dodge ram dually it's a quad cab and fully bagged on 22's I have recently purchased a few things for it to upgrade the hp & tq etc... I have an AFE bladerunner intake manifold, an AFE stage 2 intake, and the diablo sport trinity.. My truck had a TS mp-8 on it, and also went through a bullydog GT (which I took off befor purchasing the diablo) and it did ok with that but nothing like this thing!!!
I have to say that this blew me away, I have a friend that owns a shop and does alot of diesel upgrades and such for people so he had talked me into doing all this stuff and I love it but I first started with the bully dog GT and I hated it I couldn't tell much of a differnce from my MP-8 to it, so he let me put in the trinity.... End of story my truck has nevr blew out smoke and as soon as we got her started and put in reverse she blew it out I was happy needless to say!!! And when I went down the road it was like I was driving a completely different truck it's amazing how much power this beast gives mine!

The only ? I have...
When my truck was stock you can rev it a little in park or neutral and for some reason it takes a second to die down??
Well when we installed the programmer it does this when going down the road if I get into it and build some boost.. After that while it's trying to idle down it's like it stays in the gas even If I hit the brake?? ( and it does this on performance and on extreme) ?? Any ideas btw I love the product and would greatly recomend it to evry dodge owner!!

Thats a result of the injectors hanging open under the extra rail pressure, it should learn most of it out over some time.
