2009 Pontiac G8 GT custom tune

I own a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT with a L76 6.0L V8 engine. I am using a U7194 predator with 9r14 revision, and I was wondering if anyone might be able to email me a custom tune for it. I have installed a Magnaflow cat back exhaust and Volant cold air intake. Any help will be awesome.

no.. there is no "sharing" of custom tunes...

tune files are locked to a vehicles VIN and calibration ID's... so, you can not use someone elses custom tune file on your vehicle... you'd have to get a custom tune created specifically for YOUR vehicle, based on a copy of your tune file from your car.

if you'd like a custom tune done specifically for YOUR vehicle, then PM me for info, cost, files needed, etc etc...

well, if you want to be able to continue to use the predator so that you can restore the original backup stock tune at any time so you can take your car in for dealer service work, you'll need to make sure your "local tuner" is a diablosport CMR dealer/tuner and can create a custom tune for you...

and if he's not, then make sure you "restore original backup" to your car first before he tunes it, so that you start with the original stock GM tune and so that you unlock the predator... or you'll be screwed...

The local tuner is a CMR dealer, I don't know if he would be willing to work on a car though because he deals with trucks mostly. Thanks for the help 06MonteSS.

I just got a Predator U7194 tuner and it came with a 9r11 on it. Is it safe to tune my G8 gt?

Yeah, as long as it's 9r07 or later. I suggest to update to the 9r14 just to be safe though. Mine came with the 9r14 so I was alright.

Its not letting me update to the 9r14. I downloaded it and I try to load it to the programer but the downloader said not responding.

Is it a new predator? Of course it doesn't really matter as long as it's 9r07 or later.
