Im new to this truck tune stuff so I have lots of questions. First I have an 04 silverado Z71 with 5.3 vinT. Does this unit do data logging and live monitoring? Do you need to do this to use the DSlogRedux? Im trying to do all the research on the unit so when I do get it I will not have so many questions later. But I'll still have alot of questions.

Choose real time data and then watch and record.

what revision is your predator on??
if you have an older 2.xx revision predator, you can not save data logs... it has to be one of the new hardware models on a 9rXX revision...
then it would be under real time data, watch & record like speeddemon said...

I data log with a third party software and interface: Palmer Performance ScanXL Pro with the OBDLink interface. These logs can be exported to Excel in .csv format that can be used in DSLogRedux.
In your case, if you want to be able to save log files, I recommend you send it in for an upgrade. It would be cheaper than getting the same setup I have. The ScanXL w/OBDLink setup will cost you around $190 (I think). I haven't upgraded my tuner (yet) because I already had this setup and thus had the ability to work around the logging issue.
