i was wondering to have custom tunes on the programmer how much do they each cost because i would like to have a better than the default performace tunes and i was wondering if they have an economy tune if i dont want to have it on a performance tune all time

well, no need to have two separate custom tunes - one for performance and one for economy...
because once the tune is dialed in, you will get the best of both worlds!! better performance AND better mileage!!

what revision is your predator on?? when it powers up and is at the main menu, there's a number at the top of the screen, that's the revision number... what is it?
because once the tune is dialed in, you will get the best of both worlds!! better performance AND better mileage!!

well if i have the performance tune on all the time i kno i will be just flooring it everywhere more than i do now
wouldnt it run more rich if its on the performance tune than doin daliy driving on an economy tune i want an economy tune because i do a lot of long distance driving

no.. it will not run rich... that's the whole point of getting the custom tune, so the fueling, timing, etc etc etc is all dialed in correctly, so it runs more efficiently and gets you better performance and better mileage...
your truck right now is running more rich WITHOUT the tune being on there and dialed in...
Performance Tune and Economy Tune is simply for the different octane levels of gas...
Performance Tune is made for 91/93 octane gas and is more aggressive...
"Economy Tune" is made for 87 octane gas and does not have as much giddy-up as the performance tune... It's more "Economical" because you can run it on less-expensive 87 octane gas, as compared to having to buy 91/93 octane gas for the performance tune.
and yes, the diablo predator DOES have both for your truck... it comes with a Performance Tune, and also has an 87 Octane Tune on it...

heh... like I mentioned above, the Performance Tune is made for 91/93 octane gas... so you'll have to use 91 or 93 octane gas in your truck if you use the Performance Tune, due to more increased timing...
if you're only going to use 87/89 octane regular gas, then use the 87 octane "Economy" tune....

with the custom tune how does that work with updates because it looks like there are updates every so often if i understand it correctly

when you get your 7198, it will already be updated to the latest revision, and you should be all set with it, since those are for older vehicles, any final updates are already in the new latest revision you'd get...
the new revisions/updates you see being posted, are to add support for additional vehicles... so you won't have to worry about needing to update yours...
when you get it, make sure you also get the pc interface kit - that includes the usb/serial cable and power adapter, so that you'll be able to connect the predator to your Windows PC so you can download recorded data logs, and import/export tune files.
if there ever did happen to be a new update for your predator, you could just update the predator and import the custom tune to it again to install to your truck, no biggie...

ya for a custom tune that for that price is BADASS i want a programmer to help me become faster and slap around ricers and i want the custom tune to beat my buddy bc hes head is way to big and i want beat him wit an older truck with an almost full liter smaller engine he has a 2003 dodge hemi that he thinks its gods gift to the world and talks trash bout gm i want ur help to kick his a** lol

nice looking truck u need to do shackles on it will look so clean single cab trucks wit shackles look really good and its only 75bucks for eibach and they are really nice
do u think wit ur tune i will be able to beat him honestly bc hes isnt stock but isnt programmed
