ext puff tune?

I have been running the ext puff tune and running my puck also will this be a bad thing over time?

check the rail presure using the tuner,if your less than 25k wide open,should be ok but some say the injectors on these things dont like much presure over stock,also if you dont have a cel it cant be that high

Problem with using the tuner to read pressure is that the ecm is being lied to by the tune and puck. So what you're reading is a lie. Extreme puff is WAY strong enough without needing a puck or some other pressure device. You might be surprised and make more power without the puck.

are you sure the tuner fools the ecm?i thought only plug in boxes do that.the tune is programing the ecm and telling it what to do.i didnt think it was fooling the ecm just changing the parameters,i used the tuner to check rail presure and it was huge diferent from stock to extreme.maybe johan will chime in later.

how do u check the rail pressure? with predator?

go into diagnostics,and real time data and find group 1 i think maybe group 2 and there should be a thingy called hpcr.find that and check it if its not checked and then go to view and it should come up,it will be in mpa for some silly reason,just multiply it by 145 and it should be close.oh ya you do this while engine is running,mite be a good idea to get some one to watch it while driving,at idle it will be low,start rompin on her and she should go up,and keep in mind theres a delay from your foot to the readings,so keep on the go pedal for 2 to 3 seconds and remember the peak number,i think the tuner can record info but im not sure how to do it.

so you can use the predator while the truck is running and while driving?

ya its got a whole wack of real time things to monitor, rpm,fan speed,trans temp,,driveshaft speed {why i dont know}rail presure and a bunch more,pretty cool stuff but like i said you need someone to read it while you drive cuz the tuner is kinda weird shaped and wont sit anywhere where you can see it,i think the trinity their working on will have all these monitiors and more but be in a nicer pakage.
