Shift Firmness Settings

Post by nj98gt »

Hey Guys,

I have 98 Mustang GT AUTOMATIC. The entire powertrain is stock. On my Predator under the Shift Firmness settings I have the following choices
Part Throttle 1-2
Part Throttle 2-3
Part Throttle 3-4
WOT 1-2
WOT 2-3
WOT 3-4

Under each choice the meter is set to "Stock". I rarely beat on the car so it will be very rare that I go WOT. I'd like better shifting performance when the trottle is half open. What would someone recommend for a good shift PSI setting for the above choices so I get a noticably harder shift, but not over kill. If I turn up the psi on the shift too high could I do damage to anything??????????

Too much added pressure is hard on the pump but some will be ok. Leave the WOT settings alone and just bump up the part throttle, start out low and see how you like it.
