Tune for my WMS 80mm causing eng light to come on

I just realized you guys have a Diablo forum, so cool. After reading the above you'll find I:

1. Just bought a used Mustang (in amazingly great condition)
2. The check eng light is on, and the guy I bought it from said it's due to the tune not being very good
3. I updated my diablo to the latest release firmware
4. I reinstalled the '91 octane WMS 80mm KIT' tune
5. The eng light is still on (and I've tried clearing, but keeps coming back on after a bit)

I'm wondering if I can get a better tune? (suggest anoter custome tune company?) Something for 93 octane for example would be nice. The trouble code I'm getting is "lean".

If I can't get another/better tune ... should I try the generic 93 octane tune? Or should I take my car to my local mechanic and have them try and trouble shoot?

Use the Predator to read the trouble codes and post up.

Exact error codes are as follows:
P0171 System Too Lean (Bank 1)
P0174 System Too Lean (Bank 2)
P1000 OBD System Readiness Test Not Complete

Sounds like there may be a small leak somewhere?

Go to options/show last tune written and tell me what it says there.

and on the next screen:

When you say a small leak ... leak in what?

leah before the throttle body, or MAF, or maybe even an exhaust leak.

So, how can I find out? Are you thinking there's nothing wrong with the diablo tune? (I don't know personally, but people are now telling me diablo tunes are no good. Is that true?)

Any further advice before I go and spend $400 on a SCT from American Muscle? Everyone else I've talked to so far says this is the cheapest way to get a decent tune. I'd rather you send me a custom tune for free (or reasonable price), but doesn't sound like that's an option. I've asked around, but places like American Muscle no longer support custom tunes for the Diablo. Why is that? There must be a tune for my setup lying around collecting dust somewhere, it's such a shame I can't find it anywhere.

You know, I also see there's a generic 93 octane performance tune. I've not tried that. To change the tune I have on there I don't need to manually reinstalled the original do I? It will do that when you click on a different tune? Do you think this is worth trying?

A different tuner is not going to solve the problem.

The tune in the Predator was built and developed for that intake specifically, and many others have used it with no issues, thus leading me to believe there may be another issue on your car somewhere.

Hrm, well that's unfortunate. I wish you could tell me what the something else is. But since it seems you can't, I'm forced to go spend more on another tuner. If you think of anything I could try, I'm all ears. Plus, I don't love that the WMS is a 91 octane, why isn't it a 93? Seems goofy to me.
