2002 powerpuck boost improvement or fuel improvement

I just purchased a powerpuck for my 2002 Cummins. Only has the map sensor plug ins plus the data link plug. No connectors for the injection pump. Does this model just add boost or does it also remap fuel pressure for the pump?
