Can i use my u7198 to clear the SES light if i switch to longtubes w/out cats or do i need a custom tune?

I thought you could turn "off" the front O2s and not have a SES(code) when installing LTs? Thats how I did my 02 LS1. No codes except the one about the rear O2s not heating up quickly enough( I can't remember what the code is).

no... you can't turn off the front O2's... #1 - those are needed for the fuel trims... #2 - functionality to disable any and all trouble codes was removed a couple years ago due to EPA regulations...

I'm sorry maybe it was the rear 02s I disabled. Anyway, no codes.
