Passing a NY State Inspection
I have a 2008 6.1 HEMI Challenger with long tube headers, CAI, and MBRP Cat-back exhaust. I have the 93 CAI Predator Tune with the 02 sensor turned off. The car won't pass NY State Inspection. In the current configuration the NY State computer reads that the CAT and EVAP banks are not ready. I was advised to put it back to stock tune and I did. However, now the check engine light comes on and it code out failure for the left and right bank emissions. The dealer has no clue on how to get it to pass inspection. Does anyone have the answer?

RE: Passing a NY State Inspection
Only fix is try anti foulers or put the stock cats on.
Your high flow cats work to well for the PCM to even believe they are there, thus you will get cat inefficiency codes if they are not turned off....and will fail if they are turned off.
