U7191 TCM Updates this year?

Post by 1qwiktb »

Now that you guys have finished up the hemi programmers, do you think you guys will get around to taking care of your existing customers with a U7191 by adding TCM support sometime this year?

I've had my programmer since April 2006 and I have been waiting for TCM support this whole time. It has been 15 months that I have been waiting for TCM support, and there still isn't a projected release date. It really does seem that once DiabloSport has your money, you're on your own. I only wish I could find someone to buy my inferior DiabloSport programmer but due to the fact that the Superchips programmer for the Trailblazer SS is out and has TCM support, it's almost impossible to get rid of. I apologize if what I said sounds harsh, but I am a very unsatisfied customer and I'm sure so is everyone else that owns a U7191.

They also need to add support for the flash update that GM is putting in now. Some people have predators that they can't even use since the dealership upgraded their PCM software.

Guys, we have been working on the GM TCM alongside the Hemi project.
As I hear it, we are very close to getting it done.
I'll get an update on Monday and let you all know.

Thanks

I was unaware of this. How long has the new PCM update been out?

Not sure, but be careful if you bring the car to the dealership. There were several threads about this on LS2GTO.com. heh

Currently waiting for revision.

I have an aftermarket MAF, so mine wouldn't run at all on the stock tune! BTW, where's Mike? He said he would get back to us today...

I will talk to management about this today.

PS, what aftermarket MAF are you running....they are generally not a good idea, especially without a custom tune for that MAF.

Thanks

Hey Mike, did you find any info on the status of the TCM update? Also, I'm running CAI made by ADM with a 100mm MAF and a custom tune for it.

I too am interested in the response, albeit late. Also been very patiently awaiting this TCM update as indicated in previous posts. There are many of us who have invested the money in this device instead of an HP, etc, on the promise of TCM support for the 7191 and have yet to receive anything but more promises.

How about an ETA at the very least? Hemi is done, we've paid for these 7191 devices based on promise of delivery of the TCM support, and most of us have been very understanding about how development goes, but certainly from a marketing/word-of-mouth standpoint it's time to deliver on those promises...nearly a year later...and give those who've paid for this item some resolve on previous commitments. An ETA isn't too much to ask, not for those of us who've paid for the device on a promise of future features.

TCM update for U7191 Trailblazer SS

Post by evadllig »

Hi Everyone,

This is my first post but I have been monitoring this site for awhile now.

First of all I would like to say that I really like the Predator Diablo for 06 Trailblazer SS. I also, am VERY anxious for the TCM update. I have been in contact via phone with Diablo and was told (for almost a year now) that this was coming. I am very patient but I also just noticed that Superchips (who has had TCM support from the beginning) has just put out the 07 Trailblazer update. This leaves me a little disappointed with the Diablo company support.

I hope that we are all just pissing and moaning for nothing and Diablo will be upgrading in the next month or two but after that I almost have to assume that it will not happen. This is also disappointing because I really like the idea of the Trinity tht is supposed to come out but I would not invest more money into a company if I can't get the company support for my car.

I know that all companies are extremely busy and must balance their work load - but from the customers perspective I judge a company on the quality of their product and the quality of the competitions product. And right now Diablo is being beaten by the competition.

I truely want to stay with Diablo and love my Predator but sooner or later there will be a breaking point for me.

Dave

PS - I also like the idea of updated manuals. Right now you have a great product with very poor manuals.
