I have a 2005 F350 6.0.. When was about ready to install the tune a message came up on the Predator - "Your vehicle is not in our database. Contact your dealer for a free update. Your cal_id is VXCF7N3"
Can I get an update here?

Okay I figured out the problem, just needed an update.. But now a new problem arised, when I was in the step of creating a back-up before I installed the Predator tune, the predator said it couldn't detect that the ignition was set as on (even though it was), and it might have a performance tune on it.. I have never installed a tune on it before, but I did buy it used. Is there anyway to find out that it might have a tune already on it?

Ok i want to get a few answers from you guys, was this truck purchased new ( like are you the original owner of it)? Also when you turn the key on before the predator is about to write the performance tune, do you get the "hour glass" "Didnt see ignition turn on" as soon as you turn the key in the on position? Or does it take a few seconds after you do the key cycle for that message to come up? Basically there are 1 possible scenario depending on when the message "Didnt see ignition turn on" it could be that there is a competitor flash on the truck already, (85% possibility) Because it was able to do the backup and fail on the write. Most likely if you take a copy of the original backup from the predator and send it in, i bet someone there could do a binary comparison and see changes in the file. The Tri Before you Buy crap from a competitor causes issues like this. ........... Or 2 the predator is married to another vehicle...
