2004 Z71 5.3

I'm just a country guy that doesn't know alot about motors. I have a 2004 z71 with the 5.3, K&N CAI, Airaid TB spacer, Flowmaster 40 series, and the U7193 v.9r03 (haven't updated anything, still stock predator as the day I bought it) predator with the diablo tune running 93 octane. Most like everyone has said I feel short on the low end. I cant even smoke the 33" BF Goodies by brake torqin. I have read alot of articles about DiabLew tunes, but most articles are about the big block Chevys 8.1 or the 6.0 with the real power. I just want to make sure that is the right thing to do with the 5.3 or if I will even get a change since the 5.3 isn't as strong as the bigger motors, the truck feels like after I get to about 30 mph it takes off pretty good, but still feels like my grandma's suburban could blow me away. Is the DiabLew tune the way to go? hey man...

actually, of the hundred or so truck tunes I've done for people, MOST of them are the 5.3's....

there weren't really THAT many 8.'s, and 6.'s.... by a very large margin, the majority of the ones that get the tunes are the 5.3 guys...

yes, you will definitely notice a change and the gains with your truck... no worries there...

and if your grandma's suburban needs a tune, I can do that too - have done several of those as well!!! HAHAHAHAA!!

Thanks Lew for the Diablew Tune, really helped the low end alot. I recommend anyone thats needs a great tune to invest in a Diablew Tune
